The Sykam S 150-Plus Ion Chromatographs are equiped with electrolytically self-regenerating suppressors, for achieving highest analytical sensitivity.

The purpose of applying post column suppressors in ion-chromatography systems is to lower the background conductivity of the eluent resulting in higher sensitivity for the analytes in question. Self-regenerating suppressors are maintenance free.
