A quaternary gradient stainless steel system with a flow range of up to 150 ml/min or 250 ml/min @ 400 bar
Description
The Sykam S 714 Preparative LC System is a quaternary gradient stainless steel system with a flow range of up to 150 ml/min or 250 ml/min and a UV/Vis detector. Quaternary gradient systems offer the user highest flexibility in terms of elution conditions varying from isocratic elutions up to complex gradients or, for instance binary gradients with additional mobile phases for CIP-procedures. A typical gradient formation with stainless-steel based chromatography systems is often a water/organic solvent based gradient for reversed phase chromatography. It is a well known fact that water/organic solvent low-pressure gradient mixing can result in bubble formation and unstable detector signals. This is often reason to choose a high pressure mixing gradient system with two pumps as we present here at this website as well. However, the S 1535 pump in the S 714 system has an integrated gradient mixer with an in-line vacuum eluent degasser for each eluent ensuring stable gradient formation up to the maximum flow rates of the pump. The S 714 Preparative HPLC system is the most economical feasible system offering maximum flexibility for chromatographic applications.
